KAHAMA, Jan. 31 -- THE director of KOM Food Products Limited Factory located in Kahama District, Shinyanga Region, Dr Jesca Kabalwa, has said that they have invested 100bn/- to produce rice products.

She said this when they were visited by a team from the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) with the aim of seeing the progress of the major project.

The visit is part of the testimony given during the implementation of the National Campaign to Promote Domestic Investment that is ongoing in the country.

Dr Jesca said that so far, the project has employed 55 workers, most of whom are Tanzanians, where the project was officially registered in 2024 and began production in January 2026.
