DODOMA, May 29 -- THE Tanzanian government has designated special areas within the Government City in Dodoma for the construction of offices and residences for ambassadors of various countries. Diplomats have been urged to relay this information to their respective governments to begin preparations for construction.

This announcement was made by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, during a special meeting of the Diplomatic Community in Tanzania. The meeting, held in Dodoma, was organized by the Office of the Regional Commissioner of Dodoma.
