MOROCCO, Jan. 21 -- TANZANIA has reaffirmed its readiness to co-host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following high-level engagements with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Rabat, Morocco.

The Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Christian Makonda, met CAF president Patrice Motsepe, delivering a formal letter from President Samia Suluhu Hassan that underlined Tanzanias commitment to advancing football development and working closely with CAF ahead of AFCON 2027.
