DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 5 -- THE  Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has commemorated the International Civil Aviation Day (ICAD) 2025 in a ceremony held at the Authoritys Headquarters in Banana, Ukonga, Dar es Salaam.

During the event, Acting Director General of TCAA, Engineer Furaha Sanga, said ICAD is observed to recognize the contribution of the aviation sector to global development, including in the areas of economy, trade, tourism, communication, and safety.

 As part of the celebration, the flag of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) was hoisted to mark the significance of the day.
