DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 29 -- TANZANIA and Ghana have continued to benefit from the existing historic ties that began during the period of the countries quest for independence, inspired by the friendship of the two nations founding fathers; Julius Nyerere and Kwame Nkrumah.

The Tanzanian Vice President Dr Philip Mpango, said good relationship Mwalimu  Nyerere, and Kwame Nkrumah is everlasting as the two countries have been allies for many years.

Dr Mpango said this when he met and held talks with the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Tanzania, Damptey Bediako Asare, at the State House in Dar es Salaam.
