NAIROBI, Oct. 21 -- EIGHT Tanzanian boxers are scheduled to compete today at the Africa Boxing Championship – Zone 3, taking place at the Kasarani indoor arena in Nairobi, Kenya.
The competition, which brings together boxers from across the region, is part of the calendar leading up to larger continental and international events.
The Tanzanian team includes experienced and emerging fighters, with bouts set for both the afternoon and evening sessions.
Among those taking part is Kassim Mbundwike, who won bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
He is due to face Manzongo Anderson of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the light middleweight division.
