Tanzania, Jan. 26 -- COMOROS' musician Samra Athouman La Diva said here that plans are underway to invite Tanzanian musicians in a joint event aimed to promoter environmental conservation in the Indian Ocean Isles.

The Tanzanian Ambassador to the Union of the Comoros, Saidi Yakubu, met with renowned Comorian musician Samra Athoumani, popularly known as La Diva, after she paid a courtesy visit to the Tanzanian Embassy to discuss cooperation in promoting environmental conservation.

During the meeting, La Diva informed Ambassador Yakubu that her organization, Twamaya, is planning to organize a major fundraising event aimed at strengthening the fund for the implementation of various environmental conservation activities in Comoros.
