Dar es Salaam, April 23 -- DODOMA: TANZANIAN President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has emphasized that as Tanzania continues to open up and advance in development, there is a growing need for legal reforms to safeguard the interests of both society and the nation at large.
Speaking during the launch ceremony of the Revised Laws Edition 2023, held at the Chamwino State House in Dodoma, President Samia noted that between 2002 and 2023, a total of 1,039 laws have been amended. She stated that this figure reflects the countrys rapid transformation and the necessity for laws that align with the current environment.
