GENEVA, Nov. 19 -- THE Tanzanian government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening strategies for controlling tobacco use, combating related diseases, and supporting global collaborative actions aimed at safeguarding public health.
This was revealed by the delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania that participated in the 11th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC COP11).
The conference is taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, from November 17 to 22, 2025, and aims to discuss global strategies for controlling tobacco use and protecting public health.
