GENEVA, Feb. 7 -- UNITAID has announced its commitment to continue collaborating wth the Tanzanian government to strengthen the capacity of the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA), including facilitating its upgrade from level three to the highest level.

This was revealed in Geneva, where Tanzanias Chief Medical Officer, Dr Grace Magembe, is attending the 158th meeting of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO), and she used the platform to affirm the countrys efforts to strengthen health services.

While at the meeting, Dr Magembe met with the Unitaid Program Director, Robert Matiru, and they agreed on the strategies and efforts implemented by the Tanzanian government under the Minister of Health, ...
