ANKARA, Sept. 10 -- TANZANIA and Turkiye have begun a meeting to explore ways to improve bilateral trade relations and work towards increasing the trade volume to 1bn US dollars.

Ther Tanzanian delegation led by Iddi Seif Bakari, the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Turkey, has visited the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and held official talks  with the Turkish  Vice President of the Chamber, Ahmet Özer. Several Tanzanian institutions participated in the tour,, including the Cereals and Other Produce Regulatory Authority (CPB), the Warehouse Receipts Regulatory Board (WRRB), the Tanzania Cooperative Development Commission (TCDC), and the Tanzania Mercantile Exchange (TMX).
