DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 20 -- TANZANIA and India have agreed to advance and strengthen their strategic cooperation to support the implementation of Tanzanias National Development Vision 2050.

The Minister for Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar, stated this during talks with the Indian Ambassador to Tanzania, Bishwadip Dey, who paid a courtesy visit at the Ministry of Finances Sub-Office in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking during the meeting, the minister said that as Tanzania implements Vision 2050, it is important to deepen strategic cooperation with India, especially at a time when diplomatic, social, and economic relations between the two countries continue to grow stronger.
