ZANZIBAR, May 21 -- THE Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) and Chinas Hanwei Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening business cooperation between the two countries.

Zanzibars Minister for Trade and Industry Omar Said Shaabani called on Monday during the event for practical steps to translate the longstanding partnership into concrete economic benefits.

“Platforms such as the TCCIA–Hanwei forum provide valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and the development of joint ventures between businesses from both countries,” the minister said in a statement.
