MINSK, July 23 -- PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has said that his visit to Belarus, the first high-level visit since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1996, has opened a new chapter of cooperation in strategic areas beneficial for both Tanzania and Belarus.

The Prime Minister made the statement when addressing journalists in Minsk, Belarus, after his official talks with his host, Belarus Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, on Tuesday.
