KIGOMA, Dec. 1 -- TANZANIA Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) is set to open a new office in Kigoma as part of a broader diversification strategy aimed at strengthening trade facilitation and expanding market access.

The move marks a significant step in enhancing the countrys presence in key border trade zones and improving services for traders operating across regional markets.

According to TanTrades Director General, Dr Latifa Khamis, Kigoma has been identified as a strategic location offering unique access to neighbouring markets in Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
