Dar es Salaam, Feb. 24 -- TANGA; THE Port of Tanga has continued to position itself as a preferred gateway for traders and logistics stakeholders after successfully receiving two marine vessels, MV BBC WASHINGTON and MV ZI-JING-SONG, both carrying heavy modern equipment for various ongoing projects in the country.
The two ships docked at the port, with one transporting power control equipment for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project to Uganda, and the other delivering modern power generation equipment belonging to the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO).
