DAR ES SALAAM, June 19 -- TANZANIA Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has called on its customers across the country to settle their electricity debts—whether from prepaid or postpaid services—in a bid to improve the quality and reliability of power supply for the benefit of national development.

The call was made today in Dar es Salaam by TANESCOs Acting Director of Communications, Irene Gowele, during the official launch of a new nationwide campaign titled “Settle Your Debt, Protect Infrastructure, Let Us Serve You.” The campaign aims to promote debt repayment and protect electricity infrastructure throughout the country.
