Dar es Salaam, April 16 -- DODOMA: THE Presidents Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) has seen an increase in its 2025/26 budget by over 1.66tri/-, according to a budget presented in Parliament on Tuesday by Minister of State Mohamed Mchengerwa.

Minister Mchengerwa said the budget tabled is for scaling up development at the grassroots level through strengthened local government services and infrastructure.

The Ministry proposed a budget of 11.783 tri/- for the 2025/26 financial year, marking a significant rise from the 10.125 tri/- allocated in the current financial year.
