DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 29 -- TANZANIA Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has disbursed loans worth 429bn/- to farmers in 2025, while successfully keeping non-performing loans under control.

Addressing the media outlets in Dar es Salaam today, January 29, 2026,  the TADB Director of Finance, Dr Kaanaeli Nnko, said the bank will continue improving its services to enable farmers to grow their economic activities through agriculture.

Explaining the various achievements of the bank, he revealed that TADB recorded a profit of 24.68bn/- in the same year, which increased to 35.35bn/- in 2025.

According to the Director, the increase represents a growth of 43 percent.
