ARUSHA, Jan. 10 -- ARUSHA Regional Commissioner, Amos Makalla, has stated that the government has invested significant funds to improve markets in Arusha City, aiming to enhance the business environment and increase economic opportunities for local residents.

Makalla made the remarks today, January 9, 2026, during his visit to inspect the progress of the Morombo Market construction project worth 2.2bn/-

 The construction of this market is progressing alongside the Kilombero Market project, valued at  9bn/-, both carried out under the Tanzania Cities Development Program (TACTIC).
