DODOMA, Jan. 28 -- FOR the past five years, the government has disbursed 285.6bn/- for the procurement of medical equipment, significantly improving provision of health services in the country.
Deputy Minister of State, Prime Ministers Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) Mr Reuben Kwagilwa said yesterday that the medical equipment, include delivery (maternity) equipment, for primary-level healthcare facilities.
“The government is working tirelessly to keep improving health services in the country and in five-year period from the 2021/22 to 2024/25 financial years, the government disbursed a total of 285.6bn/- for the procurement of medical equipment,” he told the National Assembly.
