DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 4 -- TANZANIAN small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have enhanced their capacity to compete for procurement contracts across both private and public sectors, following a targeted two-day capacity-building programme designed to strengthen their technical and strategic skills.

The ‘Bridge Local Supplier Development Programme, launched on Wednesday at the Industry Enhancement Centre (IEC), aims to strengthen the capacities of local businesses, enabling them to compete effectively for significant contracts within major projects.
