DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 11 -- YOUNG Africans is walking tightrope, facing a 2bn/- budget deficit and the leadership admitted on Tuesday that they have failed to pay players for the past two months.

Speaking at the clubhouse in Dar es Salaam, Yanga Chairman, Mshindo Msolla made it clear that not a single cent has been embezzled or misused, insisting that the club was running at a shoestring budget.

According to Msolla, the club earnings since his leadership took charge way back in May this year, stands at 2.2bn/-, while their spending has busted to 4bn/-, a situation that puts the club under intense pressure financially.
