Dar es Salaam, Feb. 22 -- DAR ES SALAAM: MAJOR stakeholders of shipping and port services including, Trademark Africa, have expressed a need for Dar es Salaam Port to keep improving other services it carries despite hitting remarkable success in the container clearing section.
The meeting held in Dar es Salaam today said container clearing service has vastly improved in recent years when a ship has to wait for 3 days at the port compared to 30 days in the past.
Still, despite this remarkable achievement in container clearance, the port management needs to improve the services of sections to suit the modern-era management system.
