DAR ES SALAAM, June 19 -- TWIGA Stars Head Coach, Bakari Shime (pictured), has lauded his squads commanding performance after an electrifying 6-0 victory over Burundi in the CAF Womens Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers, held at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.

The match showcased Tanzanias dominance from the first whistle, with the Twiga Stars putting on a clinical display of teamwork, energy and attacking flair.

“We played with high intensity, which allowed us to create numerous scoring chances and dominate the match, although we missed a few clear opportunities, Im proud of the teams effort and discipline. Were constantly learning and improving.” said Coach Shime during his post-match briefing.
