Dar es Salaam, March 31 -- DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIAS national U-17 football team, the Serengeti Boys, begin their Africa U-17 Cup of Nations campaign today, facing Zambia at Stade El Bachir in Mohammédia, Morocco.

The tournament, running from today until April 19th, marks Tanzanias third appearance in the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, following their participation in the 2017 and 2019 editions.

Serengeti Boys will also compete against host nation Morocco and Uganda in the highly competitive Group A.

This years tournament features 16 teams, an expansion from previous editions.
