Dar es Salaam, Feb. 15 -- ZANZIBAR: THE 22nd Sauti za Busara music festival commenced yesterday at Stone Town, bringing together a vibrant array of artists united by a powerful theme: peace through music.
As global voices increasingly rally against gender-based violence, the festivals organisers emphasised the need for collective action to foster harmony and justice.
“The world must stand together and amplify our voices against peace violations and gender-based violence,” stated Lorenz Herrmann, Managing Director of Busara.
Speaking at the festivals opening press briefing in Unguja, he called attention to the urgent need for community engagement in these issues.
