Dar es Salaam, March 11 -- DODOMA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is set to officiate the 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association of Local Authorities of Tanzania (ALAT), scheduled for today in Dodoma.

The meeting, which will bring together mayors, council directors, members of parliament, and council chairpersons, aims to provide a key platform for discussing local government performance and future strategies.

Speaking to journalists, ALAT National Chairperson Mr Murshid Ngeze said that all preparations for the meeting had been finalised, with President Samia as the chief guest, alongside other dignitaries from both within and outside the country.
