TUKUYU, Sept. 5 -- THE Chama cha Mapinduzis presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has assured the residents of Mbeya Region that her government is committed to delivering genuine development by investing in improved working and business environments.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Tukuyu District, Mbeya Region, on September 5, 2025, Dr. Samia highlighted agriculture as one of the governments top priorities, particularly the production of avocados, which have recently gained access to international markets.

She further revealed that the government plans to establish 50 avocado preservation centers across the country. These centers will be equipped with cold storage facilities to extend the shelf life of the fruit.
