Dar es Salaam, March 1 -- TANGA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the GBP gas plant worth 50 million US dollars in Tanga region.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Samia emphasized the importance of the project for the development of Tanga and the nation as a whole, as it supports the clean cooking energy agenda and stimulates industrial growth in the region.

“This investment in the construction of the GBP gas plant here is significant. It will promote the use of clean cooking energy and also boost the industrial sector, which we are committed to expanding in this region,” said President Samia.
