Dar es Salaam, April 29 -- DAR ES SALAAM: DIRECTORS of Criminal Investigations and security experts from member states of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) have convened in Dar es Salaam under the Southern African Regional Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation (SARPCCO) to discuss challenges related to transnational crime and to develop joint strategies for combating it.

Opening the meeting, Tanzanias Inspector General of Police (IGP) Camillus Wambura stated that the discussions will focus on various forms of international crime, including human trafficking, drug trafficking and abuse, terrorism, cybercrime, and financial crime.
