DAR ES SALAAM, July 18 -- THE Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Said Shaib Mussa, has chaired the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Peace and Security Programme in collaboration with the European Union (EU).
The meeting, held in Dar es Salaam, focused on a wide range of issues aimed at strengthening the capacity and effectiveness of the SADC Peace and Security Architecture, through the initiative titled Enhancing the Capability and Effectiveness of SADCs Peace and Security Architecture (ECESPA).
