Dar es Salaam, March 4 -- MOROGORO: THREE people have died after two exploded following a head-on collision involving a fuel tanker and truck at Nane Nane area, Morogoro Municipality, along the Morogoro – Dar es Salaam highway.

The Morogoro Regional Police Commander, Alex Mkama, confirmed the incident, stating that the accident occurred in the early hours of today, March 4, 2025.

According to reports, the accident involved a diesel tanker from Rwanda with registration number RL 6652 and another truck, a Scania with plate number T374 DLC. Upon impact, both vehicles burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of both drivers and one passenger.
