SHINYANGA, Oct. 20 -- SHINYANGA Regional Commissioner, Mboni Mhita, has assured residents in the region of a foolproof security as Tanzania heads to the General Elections on October 29, this year.

She emphasized that the region is safe and there is no security threat.

Speaking to media outlets in a press briefing held here, Ms Mhita said the Regional Government has made thorough preparations to ensure that the voting process is conducted peacefully, calmly, and fairly, without any disturbances to voters.
