DAR ES SALAAM, June 27 -- DAR ES SALAAM Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila has urged citizens and businesses to actively seize the economic and technological opportunities presented at the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as ‘Sabasaba.

Speaking during a visit to the fairgrounds yesterday, he emphasised the strategic importance of Dar es Salaam, home to over 5 million residents, as a vital commercial hub for East and Central Africa and a key asset for TanTrade.

Chalamila highlighted the citys unique position bordering several landlocked countries, including Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Malawi.
