Dar es Salaam, March 15 -- As part of this initiative, the regulator is inviting education stakeholders in the country to visit natural gas production and processing facilities to broaden their understanding of the extraction subsector.

Recently, PURA organized a site visit involving representatives from the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET).

During the visit, delegates had the opportunity to tour natural gas processing plants operated by GASCO, a subsidiary of the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), in Madimba, Mtwara Region.
