DAR ES SALAAM, June 4 -- PUMA Energy Tanzania is set to launch four Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Dar es Salaam and Morogoro within the next three months, including a high-capacity mother station, signalling a major boost to the countrys clean energy infrastructure.

According to CNG Project and Operations Manager, Eng Chagaka Kalimbia, this initiative marks a strategic move to reduce reliance on imported fuels, lower emissions and support Tanzanias transition to more sustainable energy sources, aligning with national goals for energy security and environmental sustainability.

“This project represents a significant leap in Tanzanias shift toward cleaner, more sustainable energy,” he said.
