Dar es Salaam, March 31 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Public Relations Society of Tanzania (PRST) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the public relations profession in the country, recognising its crucial role in societal and institutional development.

PRST president, Mr Assah Mwambene, made this commitment during the PR and Communication Excellence Awards 2024, held recently in Dar es Salaam.

He expressed optimism about the future of public relations in Tanzania and emphasised the need to elevate the profession to the standards of other well-established fields.
