Dar es Salaam, March 22 -- MUSOMA: In an effort to enhance access to education in Musoma Rural Constituency, the Member of Parliament (MP), Prof. Sospeter Muhongo, has appealed for contributions to support the construction of new secondary schools in three villages.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to expand educational facilities in the constituency, which includes 21 wards and 68 villages.
Currently, the constituency is home to 26 ward-based secondary schools and two religious-affiliated secondary schools.
However, according to Prof Muhongo, there is still a gap in educational resources, prompting plans for the establishment of five new secondary schools in 2025, alongside seven others already under construction.
