Dar es Salaam, Feb. 15 -- DODOMA: THE countrys 12th Parliament is expected to be dissolved on June 27, 2025, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mussa Zungu announced yesterday.

Mr Zungu made an announcement immediately after the adjournment of the 18th Meeting of the 12th Parliament. The Deputy Speaker was informing legislators on the itinerary of the following 19th Parliamentary meeting planned to kick off on April 8, 2025.

The meeting will deliberate on the new estimates of the 2025/2026 government budget.

According to Mr Zungu, the Parliamentary Standing Committees will begin operations on March 10, 2025 during which the government will submit copies of 2025/ 2026 summary budget books and their annexures to the office of the C...
