DODOMA, July 8 -- A new era is beckoning for Tanzania as President Samia Suluhu Hassan prepares to officially launch the Tanzania Development Vision 2050 (TDV 2050) in the capital city, Dodoma, on July 17 this year

Planning Minister Prof Kitila Mkumbo revealed this during a meeting with editors from various media houses held in Dar es Salaam yesterday, saying preparations of the key document, themed ‘the Tanzania We Want, had been completed.

“This will mark a crucial and historic day for the countrys development vision,” said Prof Mkumbo, noting that the Vision document passed all key stages, including endorsement in Parliament and cabinet.
