ZANZIBAR, June 8 -- The President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, today,  June 7, 2025, joined Muslim faithful in performing the Eid Al-Adha prayers held at Masjid Taqwa, in the Central District of South Unguja Region.

President Mwinyi attended the important religious event  accompanied by various leaders from the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, celebrating the holy day together with the citizens of Zanzibar.

Eid Al-Adha is observed by Muslims around the world as part of fulfilling the Islamic pillar of Hajj.
