Dar es Salaam, Feb. 21 -- COAST REGION: The Deputy Secretary-General of the Public Service Management and Good Governance, Xavier Mrope, has instructed employees of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) to oversee the use of public funds and assets with integrity and ethics.

Mrope made these remarks during the opening of the Fifth meeting of the Fourth Staff Council of the PPRA, which took place at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School in Kibaha, Pwani Region.

He stated that public servants are required to maintain integrity at all times, alongside managing public funds and resources when providing services, a step that will help control wasteful spending.
