Dar es Salaam, March 19 -- KIGOMA: POLICE officers from Kigoma region participated in the blood donation exercise held at Maweni Hospital in the region, as part of their contribution to supporting the community during this Lenten and Ramadhan period.

The exercise was carried out in collaboration between the Police Force and healthcare workers, aiming to assist patients in need of blood, especially pregnant women, children, and accident victims.

Speaking during the event, the Kigoma Regional Police Commander, SACP Filemon Makungu, said this initiative is part of the Police Forces social responsibility to help save the lives of citizens.
