Dar es Salaam, March 3 -- DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has called on religious leaders to continue praying for the nation and its leaders, emphasising that without peace and stability, Tanzania cannot achieve its economic development goals for the benefit of its citizens.
“A country cannot have freedom of worship without peace. Without peace, we cannot engage in productive activities. In this regard, I commend and thank all religious denominations for continuously praying for our nations peace, unity and stability,” Mr Majaliwa said when he represented President Samia Suluhu Hassan at a special national prayer event organised by the Union of Church Leaders at the Leaders Club grounds in Dar es Salaam.
