MOROGORO, Jan. 2 -- PRIME Minister  Mwigulu Nchemba has today, January 2, 2026, inspected the progress of the construction of the Kidunda Water Dam located in Morogoro Region, as part of the governments efforts to monitor the implementation of major strategic projects.

Speaking shortly after the inspection, Dr Nchemba said the Kidunda Dam project reflects the vision of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to ensure the country attains a long-term solution to water shortages.
