MWANZA, Jan. 23 -- PRIME Minister, Mwigulu Nchemba, has laid the foundation stone for a water infrastructure project worth approximately 46.2bn/- in Mwanza aimed at improving access to safe and reliable water for residents.
The project is expected to benefit over 450,000 people in Mwanza City as well as Magu and Misungwi districts.
It will also cover areas including Nyegezi, Mkolani, Buhongwa, Nyahingi, Luchelele, Sahwa, Kishiri, Igoma, Kisesa, Bujora, Kanyama, Fela, and Usagara.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of accountability and unity in ensuring the projects timely completion.
