DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 12 -- PRIME Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba has blessed the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Ocean Road Cancer Institute located in Dar es Salaam today, February  12, 2026.

PM represented the Tanzanian President, Dr  Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The event, held in Dar es Salaam provides an opportunity for the institute and stakeholders to reflect on the journey in the fight against cancer reviewing progress made, the current situation and future direction.

Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) is the only comprehensive specialized facility for cancer care in Tanzania.
