Dar es Salaam, Feb. 24 -- DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has urged religious leaders to continue reinforcing religious education to help children and youth develop strong moral values.

He made the call yesterday while representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the 33rd International Quran Memorisation Awards at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

“The responsibility of instilling good morals lies with all of us, with religious institutions playing a significant role,” he said.

PM Majaliwa also encouraged all religious denominations to continue preaching peace, unity and stability ahead of the upcoming General Election, emphasising that peace and stability are among the countrys greatest values.
