Dar es Salaam, March 31 -- DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has directed the expedited completion of training venues for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals.

This directive is particularly important as Tanzania prepares to co-host the CHAN finals with Kenya and Uganda in August.

The venues undergoing improvements in Dar es Salaam include Major General Isamuhyo Stadium, the Law School and Gymkhana. During an inspection on Saturday, the Prime Minister directed government officials to assess the progress of contractors responsible for the upgrades, especially at the Gymkhana venue, to ensure they are completed on time.
